The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement processes including sourcing and ensuring delivery of goods and services.

This role would suit a self-motivated individual , with good communication and negotiation skills with the relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team’s planning activities daily and discuss and escalate procurement issues such as delayed availability, discontinued product, and any other relevant impact on the business with the Retail Sales Director.
• Ability to drive and push the team, set priorities, and manage expectations.
• Proactively manage procurement activities, be aware of seasonality or stock, promotions etc.
• Effectively manage the procurement system with the team ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
• Review and define process efficiency improvements for the team and drive implementation of change.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Working hand in hand with Operations to manage inbound shipments and invoicing.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimise cost savings and efficiency.
• Utilising statistical forecast models to forecast and evaluate results.
• Stay informed about relevant regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Key Attributes & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years relevant experience in Supply Chain Management essential.
• Experience with change management a distinct advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central desirable but not essential.
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office). Excellent working knowledge of Excel is necessary.
• Numerical and analytical abilities, Proficiency with statistical and forecasting fundamentals.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Drive / Self-Motivation / Proactive / “Can Do” mentality.
