Origo has been in Ireland since 1954 and as an established employer we are committed to supporting all employees in recognising and fulfilling their full potential through effective, creative and innovative learning initiatives. Origo promotes a culture of learning & development through its performance management system, training plans and educational assistance programmes. We are accredited with the Excellence Through People standard.
All new employees attend an induction programme tailored especially for their role. The programme may last from 1 day to 1 month and is designed to equip the person with the knowledge and information about both their new role and the company in order to make the transition into their role smoother.
We offer job specific training and access to external courses to all employees as identified through training-needs analyses, individual learning and development objectives identified in conjunction with their managers through our performance management process.
Educational Assistance Programme
Origo recognises the importance of external education. To support this we offer an Educational Assistance Programme to all approved permanent members of staff.
Diversity and Equality
We strive to promote an environment in which equality and diversity are valued in our culture and ethos. Origo is committed to a policy of Equal Opportunities. Origo also communicates a Dignity & Respect at Work policy.
